A little over a month ago, I shared with you the reason I made the decision to close my fitness studio. I shared an important lesson I learned – in order for us to make space to do something greater, we need to “quit” something…even if that “something” by all definitions is successful, fulfilling, and purposeful.
This resonated with so many of you and I appreciated all your emails and messages!
But I haven’t shared with you too much about what’s “next” for me and what it is that I’ve been working on since closing the Body Project studio (aside from chasing my blessed little ones!).
To put it simply, I’ve been spending a lot of time studying the science and research on whyso many women find it so challenging to achieve the results they want (and more importantly, how to make the results last) – whether it’s physical health or other important realms of life like satisfaction in their career, family, financial health, life balance, or self-confidence.
“Why?” – you might ask?
Because over the years of “teaching fitness,” I realized very early on that there are deeper reasons why too many women, again-and-again, end up in the vicious cycle of frustration and overwhelm, even when they are doing what they are “supposed” to do.
Bottomline – too many women feel “stuck” and are looking for answers they never find – or worse – they give up.
Over the last several months, I’ve been working alongside leaders and educators who specialize in behavior change and Emotional Intelligence. My goal has been to pair my experience coaching women with evidence-based research in order to create a practical approach I can teach women so they can achieve lasting, more meaningful results in whatever part of their life they need it most.
“So what does this all mean, Lindsay?” – you might ask? 🙂
Well…I still hope to be a source of motivation, education, and support that you’ve come to know!
But it’s going to “feel” a little different.
Fitness and nutrition – as I’ve most often talked about over the years – is without-a-doubt a critical component necessary to achieve positive physical and mental results.
BUT THE FACT IS: FITNESS & NUTRITION ARE NOT THE GAME CHANGERS.
It’s this “game changer” that will be my focus from here on.
>> I’ll be teaching you my “Inside-Out Method” that will give you the tools you need to get “unstuck” from what’s holding you back so you can finally discover your full potential: physically – mentally – emotionally. <<
This will all make more sense in my upcoming emails, on my social media, in my book that will be released in the spring of 2019 (woohoo!), and in the programs and courses I’ll be offering beginning in the New Year.
This will be exciting … I promise you 🙂
So stay tuned!
Committed to your success,
Lindsay
